About these terms

These terms apply to the RE:OTHER app, its supporting services and reother.com. RE:OTHER is an independently operated service based in the United Arab Emirates. “We”, “us” and “our” refer to its operator. Contact hello@reother.com.

By using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use it. Our privacy notice explains how we handle personal information. RE:OTHER is currently in private testing; the website showcases examples and does not offer online generation or a public app download.

Age and your account

You must be at least 13 and meet any higher minimum age required by applicable law. If you are still a minor where you live, you need a parent or legal guardian’s permission to use the service and make purchases. That adult should review these terms with you.

Use an account you control and keep its sign-in credentials secure. You are responsible for use you authorise. Let us know promptly if you suspect unauthorised access. Do not sell, share or impersonate another person’s account, bypass access restrictions or use automated methods to abuse the service.

Your photos and permission

Upload only photos you have the right to use. Obtain permission from every person whose likeness you provide, including a second person or a hairstyle reference. Do not upload a person under 13. For anyone aged 13 or over who is still a minor, obtain the necessary parent or guardian permission as well. Do not upload private, confidential or sensitive material that you are not authorised to share with the processing providers described in our privacy notice.

You keep your rights in your inputs. You give us a limited permission to host, process, transmit and display them and their outputs as necessary to provide, secure and support your requested service. This allows the relevant processing providers to perform that work. It does not give us permission to sell your photos or use your private images in advertising without separate permission.

AI results and your use of them

RE:OTHER generates or alters images with AI. It can change facial details, make mistakes, omit elements or produce something unexpected. Examples are illustrative and do not guarantee the same appearance, exact identity preservation, framing or quality. Hair, beauty and age previews are creative simulations, not predictions, professional advice or representations of real events.

As between you and RE:OTHER, we do not claim ownership of the outputs you request. Copyright protection, exclusivity and rights to use a result can depend on applicable law and third-party rights; we do not guarantee them. Check outputs before using or sharing them, obtain any necessary permissions, and disclose AI alteration where required or where omission would mislead people.

Pack names or stylistic references do not imply endorsement, sponsorship or a relationship with a studio, artist, game, brand or other rights holder. Do not present an AI-generated scene as an authentic event, credential, endorsement or unedited photograph.

Keep it respectful

Do not use the service to create, upload or distribute illegal content; sexual or exploitative material involving minors; nudity or sexually explicit content; non-consensual intimate imagery; threats, targeted harassment, hateful abuse or graphic violence; deceptive impersonation or fraud; or material that violates privacy, publicity, copyright or other rights. Do not attempt to evade safeguards, interfere with other users, extract private data or overload the service.

You can report an unsuitable result in the app, or email hello@reother.com. Include enough information to locate the issue, but do not email illegal imagery. We may refuse a generation, remove content or restrict access where reasonably necessary to investigate misuse, protect people or comply with law. You may contact us to request review of a restriction.

Gems, purchases and failed generations

Gems are account credits used to request image generation. The app shows the applicable gem cost before you start. Different packs can have different costs. A gem is not money, a deposit or an investment; it cannot be traded, transferred or redeemed for cash except where law requires a remedy.

When purchases become available, bundles, local prices and taxes will be shown through Google Play before confirmation. A bundle is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. Payment and refund eligibility are also subject to Google Play’s applicable terms and mandatory consumer rights. Do not make a purchase without the required account-holder and, where relevant, parent or guardian permission.

A confirmed failed generation returns the gems charged for that generation automatically. This is a return of app credits, not a refund to your payment card. A successful image is not automatically refunded simply because you dislike it; contact support if there is a fault. An interrupted connection may leave a request processing, so check its final status before trying again. Contact us if a failed request’s gems or a verified purchase credit have not appeared.

We do not currently set a routine expiry on purchased gems. Deleting your account closes its balance, so resolve purchase or balance issues with support first. Account deletion and these terms do not remove any refund or other remedy required by law. Promotional or tester credits are not purchased money and have no cash value.

Availability and changes

Generation depends on connectivity and third-party processing services. Queues, interruptions, safety checks and maintenance can affect availability. We may change or retire packs, update models and adjust future gem prices; the price shown for your accepted request governs that request. We do not promise that a particular style, model or preview will remain available indefinitely.

We may suspend or end access for a material breach, security risk or legal requirement, with notice and an opportunity to resolve it where appropriate. If we discontinue a paid service, we will provide notice and handle unused purchased value in accordance with applicable law. You may stop using the app or request deletion at any time.

Responsibility and legal rights

We will provide the service with reasonable care. To the extent permitted by law, we do not warrant uninterrupted operation, error-free AI output or fitness for a particular purpose, and we are not responsible for losses caused by unlawful or unauthorised uses outside our control. You remain responsible for how you use and share your images.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable liability for fraud, deliberate wrongdoing or other non-excludable harm. Nothing takes away your mandatory consumer or data-protection rights. If part of these terms is unenforceable, the remaining terms continue to apply where lawful.

Law, disputes and updates

These terms are governed by the applicable laws of the United Arab Emirates, subject to mandatory protections and jurisdiction rules that apply where you live. Contact hello@reother.com first so we can try to resolve a concern. This does not prevent you from approaching a competent authority or court.

We may update these terms as the service changes. Material changes will be notified through the app or another appropriate channel where required, and consent will be requested where necessary. Changes apply prospectively unless law requires otherwise. The date above identifies this version.
